JOY: Journey of Yoga
Ideal for readers who appreciate authentic yoga traditions, spiritual history, and the deeper philosophy behind yogic practice.
Discover the timeless wisdom of yoga through JOY: Journey of Yoga by Dr. Vijayendra Pratap — a reflective blend of traditional yogic teachings, personal experiences, and spiritual learning.
Drawing from notes taken during classes conducted by Swami Kuvalayananda at the renowned Kaivalyadhama Institute in Lonavala between 1959–1960, the book offers a rare glimpse into the authentic spirit of yoga before its modern commercialization.
Centered around classical Hatha Yoga, breath awareness, discipline, and the sacred teacher-student tradition, the book beautifully bridges traditional yogic understanding with a research-oriented and experiential approach.
"My child, I would never leave you. During your time of trial, when you see only one set of footprints, it was then that I carried you."
